More than just a meditation teacher…..Manjit encourages one to navigate their own personal path to meditation and discover their vibrancy through guided meditations and a regular practice.
My name is Manjit, which translated from Punjabi means “To Win the Mind”
My philosophy is that we are all unique and therefore meditation is a unique individual practice to all of us. I believe that Meditation is the most important, overlooked key to a better quality of life and it excites me that more and more people are finally realizing this.
There is much more scientific evidence available as to how meditation affects the mind in a positive way, improves focus and how with a steady practice we have the power and ability within ourselves to do amazing things. Who doesn’t want to work more efficiently, regenerate their energy and cells, retrain the way they think to reform unwanted habits and also sleep better?
So many of us in our society are simply just fueling ourselves on coffee and stress as a way to get through the working day and then completely tune out when we get home to our loved ones or get more stressed when we get home and then use sleep as a way to restore our frayed nerve endings. We are simply not present to each other anymore and of course social media and endless electronic devices only add to the distraction.
TO WIN YOUR MIND OVER IS TO WIN YOUR LIFE.
Meditation truly is the beacon of the lighthouse that guides us on how to steer the ship in the right direction. Imagine a ship without a captain to steer or a lighthouse without a guiding light. This is the absence of meditation, self love and respect.
I am fascinated by all aspects of how the mind and consciousness works, therapeutic music, frequencies that resonate with healing and brain programming with mantras. It helps us become more intuitive and creative and helps make our unique path of our own life more clear to us. Throughout my lifetime of studying this subject and with experience and teaching, I've learned that meditation, when done right, naturally becomes a way of life in the way you move and think. It's not just a sit down method but the start to a new way of life. I teach how to incorporate meditation in everyday activities as part of my one on one sessions. I also offer coaching for clients who want to integrate a wellness and mindful practice as a way of life.
